Erika & Michael were married at Morais Vineyards and Winery, a luxury wedding venue in Virginia, in August of 2023. The two of them were childhood friends turned high school sweethearts. On their wedding day they were surrounded by the people who were there to watch them grow up, fall in love, and start their lives together. Their families already felt connected from their years of dating, which made the celebration of becoming one big family that much more meaningful. Their day was people-centered with an emphasis on family traditions and dancing. What I love the most about these photos is that you can really see how much fun everyone was having. It was a magnificent celebration of their relationship and the start of a beautiful marriage. Photographed on digital, 35mm film, & polaroid.
