Motherhood Session in Roanoke, Virginia | RVA Film Photographer

Grayson and her partner share a home together nestled in between mountains and creeks in Roanoke, Virginia. The two of them started their family last fall and brought sweet Magnolia into the world. After chatting a bit with Grayson about our vision, we decided it would be so special to have our session in their backyard. The moment I met Magnolia, she instantly greeted me with a smile ear to ear, I felt so welcomed by the two of them. We had so much fun swimming, dancing, and playing with the (neigh)bor's horses. Photographing a mama with her baby brings me a feeling of deep appreciation. I am so thankful for Grayson for letting me in to document such intimate moments.
